Deadline essay contest in three weeks

St. Maarten News – The deadline for the essay contest organized by the department of culture is Friday, April 22. The interscholastic essay contest on intangible heritage is open to secondary school juniors and seniors (forms 3 to 5 or grades 9 to 12) under the age of 19. Pre-university students are also allowed to participate.

The ministry asks schools to help their student with registering for and participating in the contest.

The culture department can be contacted via email at [email protected], or via 542 66 08 extension 300. The department is established at the N. Debrot Street 2 in the Vlaun Building in Philipsburg, across from the post office and above the Family bookstore.
