“Budget security service under scrutiny”

POSTED: 09/18/14 1:13 AM

St. Maarten – The contract of the former head of the national security service VDSM, James Richardson, expired a couple of months ago, Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams said at yesterday’s Council of Ministers press briefing. While an ad inviting applications for a successor appeared in local media some months ago, no new head has been appointed yet.

“The process has started, but the budget has to be taken into consideration. Some changes may have to be made to the budget for the security service,” Wescot-Williams said. “Like all budgets, the budget of the VDSM is currently under scrutiny.”

If he didnt steal the monies to support all his women the budget wouldnt have been cut and a new head would not be needed
