St. Maarten – Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams, in collaboration with the HIV/ Aids Program team will host a Zumba me red session in front of the Government Administration Building at 7.15 p.m.
The special zumba session will be held to commemorate World Aids Day, celebrated globally tomorrow. “I invite not only civil servants but all within the community to celebrate with fitness World Aids Day. Let us raise awareness, celebrate our success and remember the victims of the Aids epidemic through this very special zumba session,” the Prime Minister said.
Today’s zumba session will have a red dress code in solidarity for those infected with HIV/ Aids and commemorating World Aids Day. The event is a part of the Prime Minister’s U 2 Can Move health initiative which has featured weekly zumba, ecological hikes, historic walks and several walkathons.
