St. Maarten – GOOD2GO donated a 35 foot steel sailing boat to the Sint Maarten Nature Foundation yesterday to mark Earth Day. The sailboat, named No Worries will be stripped out, launched and taken out to the Marine Park where it will be sunk to provide an anchor point for a marker buoy and will create habitat.  It will also become a dive site.  The handover of No Worries took place at the Earth Day Event at Buccaneer Beach Bar on Kim Sha beach yesterday afternoon.

GOOD2GO also teamed up with a local community transition group, Light Workers SXM at the Earth Day Event, to promote the use of natural, biodegradable and compostable alternatives to single-use plastics.  The company and Light Workers gave away Moringa Tree planting kits and talked to people about time banking, community farms, peak oil, climate change, biochar production and aquaponics.
