Reader’s Letter: Can you believe this?

Dear Editor,

On March 23, 2010 the judge ruled in my favor. It was a case I started against the St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation (SMHDF). The SMHDF was given one month to repair my leaking roof, but that never happened. Three months later part of the roof was repaired but they left the job half way done and never came back to complete the job.

The SMHDF is refusing to respect the ruling of the judge, but the SMHDF wants respect from others. The SMHDF say they don’t have money for maintenance. I am paying my rent every month.

Now the SMHDF is talking about scholarships and giving out donations but my leaking roof is standing there for 15 months. What a thing?

So the SMHDF continues to abuse the elderly Joe Brown, James, Maduro and who knows how much more. What’s next SMHDF?
