Bulk of study financing advices signed off
POSTED: 07/13/11 12:23 PMSt. Maarten – Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Rhoda Arrindell has signed the vast majority of advices on this year’s applications for study financing. Students will now be informed of the decisions. Those who were approved for the Netherlands should make preparations to leave on July 31. The appeals process for those who were not granted study financing will begin soon.
Students flying to the Netherlands will be joined by the minister on their journey. She’s flying to the Netherlands for a weeklong visit that’s being coordinated by St. Maarten Student Support Services (S4) and the cabinet of the Minister Plenipotentiary. One confirmed meeting on the schedule is a discussion with the Dutch Minister of Education Marja van Bijsterveldt-Vliegenhart. Further details on the schedule were not available on Tuesday.
